About etrade share availability

To make the record straight, Etrade, Scottrade, Fidelity, TDA, Schwab etc are ALL awaiting the clearing house.

Seems there is confusion of share count and settlement.

This usually takes 4 to 6 weeks.

They will never tell you it will be as long as a year.

I went thru a r/s with RXPC about TWO YEARS ago it took less than 2 weeks before the shares were put back into my account. It is up to the ecdc to give the shares back to the brokers. scottrade can do some investigation and find out why they have not received their clients shares, It should never take more than 2 weeks to received shares after a r/s.

ecdc is delivery holding out on returning our shares back to the broker. I'am going to check with a private broker to see can I bring legal action against the company.
