How many times have you inserted a USB device in the wrong way and have to turn the cable over to insert it the right way?

I have found a simpler, more obvious solution to this annoying little problem of trying to insert a USB connector the wrong way, having done so many times. I put a dot of bright pink nailpolish on the side of the USB connector that has "the little tree" on it (the side that goes up). Sometimes, especially in dim light, that little tree is difficult to see, but the nailpolish jumps right out at you. I do the same on my thumbdrives. Works for me! Ain't life grand?
