The SEC is aggressively getting rid of garbage pink and BB companies. With the help of DTCC, FINRA, USDHS, and the IRS non-filing pinkies and pump and dump filers will all go away. I imagine that OTC Markets and IHub will be very different in 5 years.
A person in Ukraine can hijack a shell by filing a resolution with Nevada on a dormant shell easily. They can name Barack Obama as President, Turbo Tax Timmy as Treasurer, and Hillary as Secretary. Pay OTC Markets $4700 to get Pink Current, buy a billion shares for par value at $0.0001. Deposit the shares, then hire paid posters, hire spammers, put out press releases, and claim Obama raised $1 Billion to cure cancer. The stock will run from $0.002 to $0.90 and make hundreds of millions.
