First off I was one of the stores closed this past Saturday and yes OPPS I was offered a job in a sister Picme as well as SEARS.

I did work yesterday in a sister store but they are only getting 28 hrs a week and she too is single. As for Sears same hours so how can they really work me?

I've heard that the company was sold not to who but sold and they tried to talk to Wal-Mart about keeping our stores opened however they still wanted us out.

My SAS computer crashed on Thursday and my internet went down last Tuesday,, All pics I took Thu,Fri and Sat are sitting on that server with no way to send them.. I got everyone I could convince to get the CD's. Wonder how long it will be before those poor people get their pics?

I'm thinking the Picme that remained open maybe safe for awhile if the company was really bought but who knows.


I posted several weeks back about my store on here and emailed and talked on the phone to the RD who told me I was reading to much into it. Yeah right I am now closed just as I tried to tell them we were being evicted.

I wish everyone of you the best in whatever you do. I know we gave it our all but we couldn't save a dying industry and that is what Studio Photography is now. People want props (we don't have) they want on location (we don't do it") Green screen would of helped alot but on well it's to late
