micro: I hope someone more tech savvy than I will help respond to this. I don't know if the specific item you posted has been viewed or not, but last I heard the problem with the Infineon software is that it only works with an Infineon TPM. It isn't interoperable like Waves software is. I hope someone will correct me if I am wrong on this.

Infineon / Wintec

I saw this about a week ago. I didn't post it, because I assumed it had already been posted by others. Apparently, not everyone has seen it.

Thanks for posting.

Micro59....Re: Infineon 1.2 software. If Infineon can now do what Wave does & allow interoperation between all TPMs & PCs, then would Wave present at Westergaard saying to the public "Wave's Embassy Technology ALONE works with ALL available TPM chips and works on ALL available trusted PCs"? http://www.wave.com/presentation/presentation051121/sld010.htm This is on slide ten (capitalized word "alone" is from Wave) and would seem to be a dangerous statement if there was actually competition. My read, is that Wave is still the only software that will allow the interoperation that is essential to medical groups, govt agencies, and allowing for multiple vendors in future systems contracts. IMO only. Could Wave get away with this in front of stockbrokers if it were not true?
