I would like to try to explain my concerns and I'm sure I will fall short but you have asked me an important question about my intentions. That said, a capital gains offset is just fine with me. GBGLF is in my retirement account, I hold common shares and debentures.
Please don't jump all over me and split hairs. This is just my opinion from information generated from the debenture meeting in Toronto, I believe that was Feb. 28th, and discussions with Royal Dominion Securities in Canada.
Throw out current price per share, mine valuation and analysis, ore sample, bidders, speculation, hear say and Van Eck. I am really uncomfortable with the players involved with this scenario and let's not forget this is a Junior. JP Morgan's involvement and KPMG have me really worried. I have, for most of my life, worked in the junior oil sector in Saskatchewan and Alberta and when these guys come to town.....80% of the Junior Oils in Western Canada are underwater so we see these people a lot. GBGLF isn't a hell of a lot different than a proven oil field with similar recovery, maintenance, and loss issues. Price per share doesn't mean much.We all know it is easy for pps to fall and trying to get it to rise again is devastating. Especially when a venture like this heads south.
The way information has been deployed to classifications of investors is uneven and I think we can all agree, deficient, insulting, and I personally believe on purpose. The international card is being played and increases the factorial of predation, legal maneuvering, and could result in delays that won't benefit any of us. Simply put, we don't have a clue what really happened here and neither does Royal Dominion or other significantly large houses that pushed this junior so hard. My opinion, my personal opinion is that there is just an immense amount of information not being delivered because of continuing investigations concerning the 1.6 billion of capitalization that has simply evaporated. Canada will take a close look at this because GBGLF was incorporated in Canada and we are hoping for a clearer picture of events from the B.C. Supreme Court.
(I like tomato soup with crackers broken up in it and melted cheddar cheese on top. I would also like a ham sandwich with a lot of mustard and mayo. I missed breakfast and I don't think lunch is going to happen. My daughter on the other hand is a fabulous cook and my dinner date tonight... My biggest problem in the world and that includes GBGLF, is my wife can't cook)!!! And now you know why I'm pissed off all the time!!!
