the attempt was made to blame factors beyond wave's control for the cash shortfall. the thai flood of q4,11 copped the unsafe blame.

the upgrade pipeline was ramping up in the harbour long after the Thai floods were history and the supply chain was said to be compromised. so i guess it wasn't affected.

if one reads the q1 cc, it is evident that the hopes in the pipeline related to activity that was due to be consummated in qs 2,3 and 4.

as mmbg pointed out, in reality the dell contract was the biggest contributor to the decline in revenues.

ss's caveat was generally dependent on whether wave can execute.

so far, it has appeared that they cannot. for myself, i've seen no reason for optimism re q4.
