That is definitely what is stated on the FINRA website regarding 211 submissions but further down the same page this is stated:

2.After a Form 211 is filed, how long until the security can begin quotation on the OTCBB?
There is no standard time to process a 211 and clear the market maker to begin quoting a security on the OTCBB. The time it takes to review a 211 may vary significantly depending on many factors including whether or not FINRA has to request additional information from the market maker that submitted the form and upon how long it takes the market maker to respond to requests for additional information.


Doesn't FINRA only have seven days after MIKP responds to this last question? To either approve the trading or ask more questions?

that 7 day response means that finra will respond within 7 days acknowledging receipt of the submission. in other words, within 7 days finra will respond with something like this. " thank you for your submission. we will review the information you have provided." they have 6 months after that submission to either approve or return more comments.

You got me on that one. If that were the case, FINRA has messed up everytime with MIKP as they have taken considerably longer.
