I don't think we really know how or in what precise manner cides rupture the viral membrane to kill a virus. But no matter, they do, that's all that matters. Will the same micelle directed appropriately to attach to bacteria do the same thing to bacterias? Who knows! I don't think it has even been tried....yet.
