Four propellers doesn't fit under 3 feet without vertical/multicopter arrangement I think. So I am inclined to lean toward your VTOL interpretation. He has to be doing 200 knots on the approach--so it couldn't be tracking with him--had to shoot by vertically I guess. I have to admit I have never seen an AR Drone. Closest I have come is an Arducopter we brought in for testing. I'll take your word for it, but it isn't good for the domestic MAV industry IMO. Would have been worse if he had sucked it into a turbine, but this won't be good IMO.
PRGS is pretty exclusive. Be careful or you will end up with a non-traditional career path like me! I have few regrets, though. I wouldn't recommend ATIC Boot Camp unless you want to do the work--there is a 82% placement record at the moment--and they only count intelligence positions, not unrelated jobs. You seem to have the horsepower for it anyway. Best regards, IJO
