OTC markets is merely a quotation service. MIKP isn't on an exchange, either Pink or Grey. OTC markets simply requires a letter from an attorney, and the attorney throws everything back on the lap from the information provider, in this case Newbauer.
I can't comprehend why shareholders are constantly looking for anyone else to blame but Newbauer. Newbauer decided all by himself to push the edge of reality in his news releases; decided all by himself to put out sketchy financial statements, all in order to enrich himself. MIKP share holders have lots of ammo when it comes to a class action lawsuit due to the SEC suspension, and Newbauer has the money.
IMO Finra is protecting both current and future investors. If anything, It's the OTCMarkets.com who could care less about what happens to us in the long or short run... OTCMarkets primary objective is to follow the rules... but they don't always interpret the rules with a company's shareholders in mind.
