Let's put it behind AJ...you spoke and there was a reaction. You know that for every action there is a reaction. You spoke your mind and some posters differ on it...to each his own. It was a healthy discussion of pros and cons and nothing more to that because we all have the same goal here. Anyway, I hope you're right in your prognostication for Monday.
Perhaps you have heard of the sell the news phenomenon. My guess is that if you were to do a survey of all biotech stocks and check pps after the events you have sighted you would prob see very similar pps movement.
aj-what you say occurs with most quarterly and other presentations-usually unless there is some unexpected news the stock will most times move up in anticipation and then sell-off on the presentation--but if you look at the ensuing days stock recovers most of the time.
so unless some unexpected bad news--buy the dip!!!!
AJ I always hated the quarterly report like you said it always goes down on that day, we the longs know it was n't about earnings because there was none, but for some reason investors sold because of the none earnings. Now we are not considered a speculative play anymore, and now we will be judged on our earnings
