#35007 RE: TEEROY #35006

Question to all: How does communicating with shareholders benefit the company?

If you jot down the pros and cons there are no advantages either way. If anything, the more long term shareholders that leave, the better chance management has at shifting control to their agenda. Sometimes you have to let the forest burn to make way for new growth. One could almost argue that management is holding the stock back.
Other than Ferris's few million shares, nobody at Virtra has a vested interest in the stock price going up short term.

The employees and management still make enough sales to pay bills and most importantly make payroll. Sorry, but as a nation we have lost manufacturing pride. People work for a salary. Who cares about growth as long as the company says solvant.

I was told, by Ferris himself, about 3-4 years ago, and I'm paraphrasing: I can artificially drive the stock price to $1, but it doesn't make business sense because the price will just come back down. It is important we build a foundation.

My argument? The foundation has been established, where are the large sales and shareholder value?
