I think you are going to see a HUGE year from Josh.

The Angels' high-priced outfielder showed up to Tempe Diablo Stadium two days earlier than scheduled and about 20 pounds lighter than normal. Hamilton had usually been between 245 and 255 pounds when arriving at Rangers camp. Now, he says, he's at 225 -- the weight at which he normally finishes the season.

"Body feels better, joints feel better, energy level is up," Hamilton reported.

When a player does this it tells me they got their mind right. They are ready to rock & roll instead of coming into camp saying the I added some weight but it will come off fast that tells me they haven't been taking care of them self.

There is a difference between gaining good weight, more muscle in the right places, then just gaining weight because you been reading about what a stud you are. See Montero as an example.

If I was Manager when I tell a player to come into camp in shape first thing I'd do as coach is have the player do the football running drills till the kid is ready to puke.

Have the rest of the team watch him for a while.

There is no excuse not to come into camp in shape these days.

Angels Pitching.

Well I like Weaver and Wilson. Hansen I always thought was a bit overrated. But he is a okay 4th or 5th starter. Vargas is and underrated pitcher, he can pitch. The 5th starter is questionable, but I think they will trade for another starter if they need it at the deadline. Bullpen looks okay, yes madson is hurt, but the setup man has closing experiance. The angels don't have to have the best pitching staff to win, they got great hitters. Trout, Trumbo, Pujols, and Hamilton should provide enough offense in my opinion.
