Roy

What made you pick amzn for this fridays trade? I would guess you where lining this up through out the week.

The premiums seem to be very flippy from 13 cents to 25 very quickly for example at times, how does this play into your trading?

my guess is the one min chart is what your focusing on to trigger the trade. what indicators volume bar, obv, stoch that are key. Can you post a chart with some annotations if you have time. I'd like to see with my eyes what you are talking about.

When do you know the run is exhausted ready to turn to take your profits.
How quicky do you exit the trade when it goes against you?

Best wishes
Geo

Royg, Some questions about your set-up, etc.

(1) What is your monitor set-up. Do you have multiple monitors, i.e. one for charts and another for trading and toggle between the two with mouse?

(2) Stockchart has lowest refresh rate of 15 sec. Do you keep on manually refreshing or 15 sec is sufficient for 1 minute chart?

(3) Do you use market order or limit orders?

(4) For Friday, is the strike selection based on nearest in the money with minimum premium as premium depreciates fast near end and also the liquidity of the strike price, so that it is easy to get in and out? What else to consider?

(5) Do you set up a trailing stop after you are in the money or manually trail it.
