I assume that his disappearance has been reported to the authorities? When will the PR be coming out from the company on this unfortunate situation...with the CEO missing and all?
Make sure to post links to the news stories on this. I am sure that many in the mining industry are going to want to support the family in their time of crisis.

MEXICO: Police arrest eight in killing of Jalisco police chief, two directly involved
Mexican police arrested eight men on Tuesday (January 29) suspected of being involved in the killing of a Jalisco police chief shot dead by an armed group and for taking part in recent shootouts, amid a surge in drug-war violence close to Guadalajara City in Mexico's western state of Jalisco. According to local media, the police chief of Hostotipaquillo, Luis Lucio Rosales Astorga, was murdered at 09:00am local time (1500 GMT) on Tuesday when unknown hitmen intercepted the patrol vehicle he was travelling in, along with his wife and two bodyguards. One of Rosales Astorga's bodyguards and one of his attackers also died. His wife and the other bodyguard were seriously injured and taken to hospital. The eight suspects - aged from 22 to 32 years-of-age - were detained in possession of weapons close to the scene of the crime in a quick police operation later on Tuesday. According to the police, the suspects confessed they had also taken part in at least two shootouts - one of which left seven dead - in the last two months in the Valles region also in Jalisco state. Two of the suspects, 25-year-old Jose Antonio Alvarez and 32 year-old Jose Reyes Baltazar are said to have directly taken part in the murder of the police chief, according to authorities. "We arrested these two groups. We still need to arrest another group, it seems, but among these groups there are at least two people who directly took part in the murder of the Hostotipaquillo police chief," Luis Carlos Najera, police chief for Jalisco State, told the media. The police seized grenades, rifles, guns, helmets, bullet-proof vests, uniforms and communications equipment from the men. Police arrested the suspects in the near-by municipality of Guadalupe. The men operated in the municipalities of Tequila, Magadalena and Hostotipaquillo as lookouts and hitmen for drug gangs. Najera said members of the Coronel, Gulf and the Caballeros Templarios organized crime groups are fighting for control of the Valles region against the Jalisco Nueva Generacion cartel. When questioned why Rosales Astorga was targeted, Najera said there were conflicting reports as to why. "They vary (versions of why police chief was killed). Some say he wasn't involved (with drug gangs) and he didn't want to form an alliance with them but others say he was allied with the opposite drug cartel. We have been told there is a battle between the Coronel cartel supported by the Gulf cartel and the Templarios against the Jalisco cartel." Mexico's new president, Enrique Pena Nieto, won election pledging to reduce the violence afflicting the country. Pena Nieto belongs to the centrist Institutional Revolutionary Party, or PRI, which ruled Mexico for most of the last century until it was voted out of office in 2000. Critics say the PRI tolerated the presence of drug gangs in Latin America's second biggest economy, making deals with them to keep the peace and allowing corruption to take root. But the new government have said they are committed to going after the cartels' money and have emphatically rejected the idea that there could be any negotiation with them. Close
OMG Momo, you've taken this a little too far now with alleging that Davies is missing and presumed dead with these post. What perfect timing for him to disappear. Problem is someone who never existed can't disappear, it's impossible. I loved the way you tried to set this up though, great effort on your part!
Once again, thank you for the biggest laugh I've had all week. This is the Momo line that cracked me up "THE POLICE MEN SHOT DEAD WHERE THE ONES THAT ESCORTED US TO AND FROM CINCO MINAS". Hey Momo, were you at the Mexican police station to identify the body? Hilarious!!
