Run, isn't part of it that we each have differing definitions of success? For latecomers like me or people like Warp who lowered their basis by grabbing up the LJC dump, the threshold of success is very low--avoid bankruptcy and vulture capital and hit .05 to .07 (I forget what it is for Warp but somewhere around there from his posts). For others success is becoming a billion dollar market cap with $3 PPS.
I think sometimes we talk past each other here because of that. For me success is an enduring company that is net profitable every year and contributes worthwhile products to our government, industry and the world. That seems a pretty doable threshold to me. After that I think our definitions of success from SH's on this board go up by PPS. That is how I see the sociology of most of our conversations anyway. Others just found a way to make cheap money by destroying a company. I don't like that so much. Best regards always Run, IJO.
