A variation on the story of the biggest modern day gold scam, Bre-x. The geologist responsible jumped from a helicopter in an act of alleged suicide......or so the story goes.....

http://www.canada.com/story.html?id=f200d0be-00db-4a52-8cf2-4f4b0f56bf08

"In March 1997, Indonesian police ruled de Guzman's death a suicide, even though his body wasn't recovered for days and had decomposed beyond recognition"

"In the days following his death, the National Bureau of Investigation in the Philippines had trouble matching his fingerprints and identifying the corpse.

Today, the Indonesian doctor who did an autopsy on the body says he can't be certain the remains he examined a decade ago belonged to the Bre-X exploration manager. "

What a convenient cover-up for a guy that does not even exist!

lol, is MoMo buying time? Spreading a little confusion? Getting ready to say the JV/buyout is being held up by violence in the area?

But I should think that even in Jalisco the authorities want to see positive ID of murder victims. I suppose some fake "next of kin" could be set up, along with fake documents, but who'd want to take the risk of getting mixed up with the folks who actually killed the guy? People who presumably DO know who he was.

But hey, it could be fun. A whole new chapter.
