I loaded the updates, no problem. Rebooted, no problem. I've looked for trouble everywhere, but nothing seems amiss.

I don't know if it means anything (probably doesn't) but when I restart after system updates, I turn the computer all the way OFF first, rather than restart.

Maybe it's that Pentium you have hidden in your pocket. ;)

Reboot went ok. Shut down my six open programs prior to giving the ok to reboot. Using XP home and only downloading the SP1 critical upgrades. The Critical update was KB896424.

I haven't updated my XP in a couple of weeks...I checked a couple of days ago, and there weren't any there for me...

If it's there, I'll download it tonight, and tell you if I have any problems with it...
