Well yes, that is true. I recall when Willy first started. He was brought in by was it Kawa? on the PCBM board. He was supposed to be a stock guru who could analyze a stock. He tried recruiting me.
At first Willy stated he didn't like PCBM at all. Then, suddenly! Someone somehow changed his mind and he became a strong backer.
What I know about he and Treffry is, Treffry "loaned" Willy some money. He did this even though he claimed to have never met Willy before in person. Just some random guy on the internet. Oddly enough though, Treff won't "lend" me any money, no matter how nicely I ask.
Every time Treff brings up this money, Willy changes his tune and defends Treffry. Apparently they both have secrets together.
