Interesting questions. I still think the main question is where is the financing coming from and when. gl garrad hassan is new.

How do we know sse owns the land?
#2. Scary version? or maybe just punctuation. I don't know.
My take. At least there is movement, and more news for us. I suppose the partnership is still good until we hear otherwise. Which means partnership agreements are still in place until we hear otherwise. So SPG is there, and hopefully APWR is still exclusive supplier. btw, no change to the faa filings by sse?
Maybe too much is being made of this item. Maybe we can look at it as just news of movement until we hear otherwise.

Well I am no expert on this, but IIRC the US DOE was going to dump something huge like 250 million bucks in loan grants into this deal before the nasty China shorts and Solyndra BK news hit the fan. I am pretty sure that is a huge funding hole that APWR et.al. is not going to fill out of their back pocket?

I talked to a source at Spinning Star and confirmed that there was misrepresentation in the press release which is being corrected by the issuer (Warren Houser) of Jan 17th press release. Warren Houser is issuing a “corrected” press release to confirm that the acreage is not only much less than 40,000 but also that the acreage as well as the wind data has nothing to do with Spinning Star. And I also notice the previous press lease posted on NAwindpower and prweb has been retracted, at least, the links are no longer effective anymore.
