No they didn't sell in Nov/Dec. They sold today and last week because it's the new year. They would have had to pay capital gains taxes on their huge returns by April 15 if they sold late last year. That's why they waited until 2013. Gives them over a year to postpone capital gains taxes.

"Lasers" are "Epic outsiders" people that work for Epic but are not in Management ??? If not , could you explain who they are ??
