It will all depend on how much gold there actually is on Jorge's claims goldpanner.

I believe that there were 2M ounces proven and probable when Barrick bought the Amarillos 1-3000 claims from Lac Minerals.

According to what I have read, Barrick undertook an extensive exploration campaign in 1999, spending some $100M mostly in Argentina. I have seen a map showing huge areas of interest North and East of the current main pit area.

Subsequent to the drilling campaign the estimate was raised to 17M ounces of gold.

"Penelope" was added to the project in 2005 although it is 2.5km from the main ore body. The most Northern portion of Filo Federico may be included as well, although the Southern portions are part of Veladero.

Why would Barrick include such remote deposits in the Pascua lama project ?

The budget was raised to 8.5B last year, which is a staggering increase that shocked the mining world.

My question is: How many more Penelope's were found and where are they located ?

Can Barrick deliver on the promise of Pascua Lama without the inclusion of the original claims ?

My gut tells me that they can, and that MSX is going to have to prove up on the original claims (Mina Pascua) on their own.

I may of course be completely be wrong in my thinking.

Time will tell.

That doesnt matter one bit, nor does the ranting and bashing and you know what else happens on this board, the only way this msx share price will go up is for Brent to get on board with a PR firm as they know many people and if the story is real with real documents translated in english from spanish I think there is a hope, until that happens forget it, 1970's marketing is long gone and BJ must change to the new way of doing things, not prs that nobody cares about, it only allows barric to continue the lies, just look at what has happened already, MSX puts out a PR trying to paint a picture for the market, but really nobody is looking so until Brent either has some HUGE news such as warrents for Barrick brass to appear in a Chilean Court, this will go nowhere and I also think a booth at a GOLD SHOW cant hurt either as people who go to these things are looking for a STORY to follow, what not a a great way to get this out there but through a gold show, perhaps instead of always throwing money at JL for the ongoing saga in Chile, maybe some money could be put aside for something like the aforementioned beauase this is useliess so far no go, barrick still claims to have all necessary rights to mine pascua, and also barrick's Andy Lloyd looks at Jorge publically as a Serial Litigator so really that is how the market is reacting, that MSX is a BIG joke and will go nowhere but into the ground such as in a grave.

Thoughts?

One might be further ahead to ask the authorities in Chile sooner than ask Jorge, while your at it ask them who owns what as they should be able to give one an answer, if they can't then Jorge sure as heck can't
