Yup, you got it - nothing is true or real! As long as they don't get too greedy, they can keep stringing investors along for another 8 years. And a smart investor like you can play the bounces in the price, and make a few bucks too!
As for pictures of gold, I think they posted a few as part of past filings. A little bead of gold - no telling what it really means, never a real, third-party report to explain the testing or the process.
