What happened is entirely baseballs fault. They knew for years the many players were taking steroids and looked the other way. They saw $$ and they could care less about the stats in which baseball players were compared from generation to generation. They should have settled this and taken the ones who admitted taking steroids off the list of eligible players just like they had taken Pete Rose off the list.
