Oh that's awesome, have fun. If you're going with your significant other I'd recommend staying at the Venetian (if you're staying on strip). And don't forget the helicopter ride over the Hoover Dam and into the GC. Was around $500/person last I went but that's easy money post IPRU!
They built a new overpass way above the dam to bypass it. It works out good for people traveling through. You might want to check out the museum on the side of the road that talks about the construction of the dam. I never stopped there, but I heard it was interesting. When I drove through there I was always in a hurry to get to Vegas. When you pull the lever on the slot machines. I-P-R-U might show up.
