Interesting. This news does indicate Cohen is out of money, strange she was still saying good things about CMKX though...maybe has some stock?

Cohen Looking to Turn Her Luck Around in Las Vegas

LAS VEGAS -- Connie Cohen has endured more than her share of tough times this season, but the determined rider of the CMKXtreme/SOOoo Good International Pro Stock Motorcycle will be looking to turn her luck around at this weekend's ACDelco Las Vegas NHRA Nationals.
Cohen began the 2005 POWERade Drag Racing Series season in Gainesville with the debut of a brand new Suzuki, which she rode to a career-best elapsed time with a 7.18. After another strong showing at the next event in Houston, disaster struck at the third race of the year when Cohen crashed her bike at the top end during a qualifying run in Atlanta.

Cohen missed three races while mending a broken wrist and returned to the tour in Denver. With her wrist not completely healed, she struggled on the track, but now heads into Vegas with her wrist 100-percent healthy.

"This race was a last minute decision for us, because we have no budget left at this point," said Cohen, en route to Las Vegas from her Connecticut home. "This has been a tough year for me and my husband Marc, but we're determined to finish the season on a positive note. We really enjoy our relationship with CMKX and SOOoo Good International and their support has been very important, but we need to find additional funding to be able to be competitive at this level. We have a new Buell ready to go and we're seeking additional sponsorship for the 2006 season."

"We're really looking forward to seeing all of our friends and fans in Vegas," Cohen added. "We expect a large turnout of CMKX shareholders and representatives from SOOoo Good International and we want to put on a good show for all of them."

Just because Urbie didn't pay doesn't mean he is broke. lol!

Urbie has a long history of non payment. In the past he would use shares to pay them but since that doesn't work right now, I guess stiffing them is his next best option. I doubt he is broke...he just has no intent of paying unless they take him to court & force him to. Even then, he might have everything tied up in his trust & they won't be able to touch it.

I'm really looking forward to the day when criminal charges are filed against Urbie.
