That has been my point too..anyone who knows anything about gay folks..knows that girly men is considered by most folks in the gay community as offensive..
U would think that someone who watches gay TV 24/7 would know better..
Using the word to joke is one thing, but using it in an argument to demean their masculinity is homophobic as far as I'm concerned..
