Ummm, how can you say that the preferreds just sit there? Take all the movement since August 16th for example. There are quiet days of course, lol.

But maybe you are talking about the commoners. My opinion/assumption/presumption is that they will lag far behind the performance of the preferrreds for the next few years, but may do well over the next decade. But who knows, lol.
