Marm--they answwered a ton of questions and tried to make sure they answered everything, but there were many lawyers in the room and so they only said what they could without getting into trouble or inadvertently providing someone else with a competitive advantage. Not a lot of detail on margins and GNC stuff, except to say orders are good and the GNC sales are positive and sales continue to grow.

Perrito stepped up to say that if anyone was upset with the decision to settle with RJR, he takes full responsibility for the decision and he feels 100% that time and upcoming events will vindicate that judgement. Someone did ask about the gag order and that was put into the "terms" by RJR and the judge--Star claims they've said ALL there is to say...there's nothing left really, they aren't supposed to talk about proceedings or the judge or court is all, but the RJR thing is a CLOSED matter and that's it. They are not throwing in the towel and will continue to PROTECT their IP, but this would have dragged on another 3-5 years and it was far too intrusive and distracting from the Anatabloc story which is where their focus HAS to be.

Jonnie talked about the PR mistake and apologized to everyone in the room. He said that situation scared him to death and they were so stunned and embarrassed that it happened, especially since it was supposed to be GREAT news and a data entry error caused the company to lose SE"RIOUS credibility. They have taken this VERY seriously and will ENSURE many more eyes and checks on future PRs before they go out. That shouldn't have happened.

BTW---a BIG BIG factor--ANATABLOC does NOT show up in athlete's blood when they are taking it (as a performance enhancer)it has been thoroughly tested...this is HUGE, because athlete's cn stave off inflammation/pain while they are performing--so they are looking at getting more into the whole sports thing and also get more sports endorsements.

Lastly of course, the Thyroid Study is DONE. The analysis and unblinding and tabulating is what's going on now. So results should be announced SOON--expecting them to be good, HOW good is what remains to be seen and then HOPEFULLY, its off to the races!!! FIngers crossed.

You hit the nail on the head.

A few on this board couldn't say enough about how big the win would be against big tobacco. It's funny how quickly those posters and management swept the weak award under the rug. Where is the transparency?!?

I'm beginning to think that NJ and a certain dentist/unlicensed financial advisor are being paid to write so many articles to boost the share price. It would be a cheap way for them to get information out without being liable for "cure" claims. The volume of publications on this board and every other board and investment sites, especially Motley Fool, Seeking Alpha, and others seems like a full-time job for them.

It was tobacco, then anti-smoking treatments, then Anatabloc. What will come next if their study results aren't spectacular? That's the million dollar question now.
