It's been a strange week or so. We had 2 good PR's. which should have moved the PPS. A institutional investment which perhaps unfairly negated the PR's which is a shame and as AG said it should increase the balance sheet.

Today we have another 8k announcement. AP1 did a great job confirming minimum earnings for Q4.

Many posts on here (including mine) wished for sales in excess of $1 mill for Q4 and it looks like we have our wish.

Still the stock flounders and our big seller is active. I wonder what does the market need to move the PPS ?

I have every confidence that APDN is achieving wonderful things. I just wish the market give the company the credit it deserves. This is about to be an "overnight" sensation. For all of us who have put our trust in this company I believe we will be rewarded. It just feels strange that the company are clearly doing well and yet it seems to be getting overlooked!

As a biotech company what multiple of sales revenue is the norm in this market sector?

Any comments would be appreciated.

I'm being boring, and perhaps obnoxious with this, but here's a good example of the type of who knows who I look for...

I don't remember what I was looking for, but I came across this link with Applied DNA Sciences mentioned in it...

https://collab.itc.virginia.edu/wiki/mii/Associates.html

There wasn't a whole lot of info, just names like...

Matt Robertson (Coach, Applied DNA Sciences)

at the bottom of the page was a reference to MII, which I found was the McIntire Investment Institute.

http://orgs.comm.virginia.edu/mii/website/index.html

The McIntire Investment Institute (MII) is an entirely student-run long-short equity fund with a portfolio currently valued at approximately $580,000. Founded in 1994 by an endowment established by John Griffin, the Institute operates as a nonprofit organization under the McIntire Foundation.

Investment Philosophy
The Institute strives to achieve real capital appreciation through a variant perception of the market. MII believes this variant perception is gained by focusing on the key drivers of value for our investment ideas and establishing credibility with our research through exhaustive VAR (value-added research). VAR involves contacting stakeholders (including customers, suppliers, competitors, company insiders, and experts) to better understand the business we are analyzing. In short, our strategy is to long companies with a sustainable competitive advantage and short companies with unsustainable business models.

(I translated the info to mean it is a bunch of probably pretty smart, rich kids playing stock market with over half a million of other people's money. (Basically rich kids in training to be richer adults.)

One of those kids is Robert Sampson...

Robert Sampson, Vice President (rds5av@virginia.edu)

Hometown: Stony Brook, NY
Year: 4th
Major(s)/Minor: Biology (Pre-Med)
Favorite Book(s): 1984, The Great Gatsby, The Lion, The Witch and the Wardrobe, Lord of the Flies, More Money Than God
Interests: Cello, Fencing, Immunology/Pathology Research, Start-ups, International Culture, Global Health, Weightlifting
MII Presentations: Baidu (short), Cadence Pharmaceuticals (long), EMC (long), Cal-Maine Foods (long), Applied DNA Sciences (long)

Rob did a presentation on going long with Applied DNA Sciences, and the group agreed and purchased over 15 thousand bucks worth of shares of APDN on Oct. 12th of this year.

Now ol' Rob just happens to be from Stonybrook, NY, his major is biology, and if either of those is a coincidence and not related to APDN in any way, shape, or form, I would eat my hat if I wore one. ;-)

So my guess is Rob is a rich kid of a rich adult who knows someone else in Stonybrook who really does know what is going at our most nearest and dearest penny stock company - and as a result is long APDN.

IMO :-)
