#19813 RE: Raider21 #19809

Raider, I recently had the opportunity to go out for a cruise on an aluminum ship, so I had a chance to chat with the captain and ask what it meant for this type of boat to not go into dry dock for several years. He told me his boat gets lifted & drained, and all parts of the hull maintained, repaired, and painted, etc. ANNUALLY at the end of the sailing season. He also said that the primary reason for dry dock is to do work below the waterline. Just like you said, he told me that to ignore that sort of maintenance is a death sentence for an aluminum ship.

It's also revealing to note we can add one more person to the ever-growing list of workers/associates which MEXP seems to have stiffed.

You all deserve your money. After reviewing the letter of indemnification, to even suggest MEXP isn't responsible is mind-blowing. Best of luck to all of you.

Can it be converted to a treasure hunting submarine? If so then he has nothing to worry about?
