falconer... Great post as always. Your words of truth and wit are always a welcome sight, in my book. Thanks for the words of encouragement (even though I'm already long). I hope some of the newcomers benefit from your words of wisdom rather than listening to basher bs.

falconer, nice work summing up many of the expectations and perspectives of the longs, among whom I count myself since early this year.

One thing I have not seen on this board, however, is "frothy blather" - whether sloshed over from RB or not, lol! This board's several resident bashers are, however, quite representative of RB's populace, and at least two post there on a daily if not minute by minute basis.

falconer, thanks for posting your analysis of AMEP, and the potential you see in the company and the SP.
I think this paragraph speaks volumes:

"I've been investing in stocks now for eleven years. None have come close to the potential of AMEP. This is a rare, once in a quarter-century opportunity. For readers pondering an AMEP purchase, now is the time to do some very serious thinking. Get out the calculator, or click up the spreadsheet, and start calculating where this company will be with between 40 to 80 natural gas wells (or more), each producing anywhere from one to three (or more) millions of dollars of income for the next 10 to 20 years. And then, what if the HOA-800 technology takes off?"

I have been an individual investor for over 30 years, and I have to agree that opportunities like this stock does not come along very often in a decade. It has become my largest OTC BB investment, because I see little downside risk, but a huge upside potential once the drilling program starts next week. I too have my personal spreadsheet for AMEP on a 160 acre well spacing, and the 193 well project; that shows AMEP will be trading in dollars when the drilling program is established and showing ramping NG and Oil revenues. An outline of that spread sheet is in DD #4 for new eyes.

Small issues like AMEP, have their SP fueled by "NEWS", and AMEP will have frequent news releases, as the newly acquired Ideco rig starts completing one well, right after another, non-stop until the entire 7,000 acres is covered in high production horizontal wells. These releases will be spaced apart in weeks, not months. Also as you noted, the 193 well project using HOA-800 to increase the production by 500%, will also make frequent news, and increase the revenues for AMEP without drilling, so that should not take all that long.

NG prices this winter will also keep AMEP in the spot light too, as new investors looking for a NG and Oil investment discover our little gem. AMEP could not pick a better time in history for a Junior O&NG company to become profitable …and it will happen in only months now.

CB says all the engines on the Ideco rig are running fine, but they are a few days being schedule because the diesel mechanic had hurt his back, and was off for several days. At present, it looks like we will be leaving for Mineral Wells sometimes next week to meet Charles Bitters, Joe Christipher, and watch the Ideco rig makes it's first spud. I will post my notes when I get back.

Best to you falconer.
