md, from the financial side of things you are of course absolutely correct and I am with you hence my last paragraph.

From a scientific point of view I may not be willing to agree on the foolishness of this conversation.

While I made the point for which you added illustration by examples that the immune system doesn't seem to learn anything from Bavi presence, by lack of learning grounds, I may not agree that A) it only learns over millions of years of evolution (see vaccines and the child-diseases that you can have only once in your live as an example) and B) that it is not because we can't explain today that it learns something from Bavi that that means goodJohn couldn't be up to something that proves it does.

There was a time we believed the atom was a fundamental particle :)

So I don't believe the immune system learns something in the case of Bavi/PS workings but I will hear what goodJohn has to say while I personally think the explanation must be found in an alternative mechanism based on the persistent presence of Bavi in a ready to act state as I detail in my post. The described mechanism may not be exact (for instance one of the other cell gates may be involved, waste, phosphor, inter-cell fluid exchange gates, etc and maybe not the receptor gate) but the concept would remain the same since all gateways must pierce the PS layer of the cell membrane.

With you I am hoping we hear news on Monday but I wouldn't be disappointed if we only hear news the 5th Dec.

Md1225, thanks for your contribution. Like you, I am focused on the news we hope to see soon from Peregrine. At this time everything else is unlikely to have any affect on patients or the value of our investment.

MD125, I didn't read the posts you are responding to (came in late on this conversation), but aren't they talking about the principles of immunization, adaptive immune response, or immunological memory, and not "pills" for blood pressure, etc.,e.g. (as/per Wikipedia) "A case of somatic genetic memory is the immunological memory of the adaptive immune response in vertebrates. The immune system is capable of learning to recognize pathogens and keeping a memory of this learning process, which is the basis of the success of vaccinations. Antibody genes in B and T lymphocytes are assembled from separate gene segments, giving each lymphocyte a unique antibody coding sequence leading to the vast diversity of antibodies in the immune system. If stimulated by an antigen (e.g. following vaccination or an infection with a pathogen), these antibodies are further fine-tuned via hypermutation. Memory B cells capable of producing these antibodies form the basis for acquired immunological memory.[4] Each individual therefore carries a unique genetic memory of its immune system's close encounters with pathogens. As a somatic memory, this is not passed on to the next generation. One Bavi MOA is alleged to be "unblocking" of the body's ability to immunize itself against a "non-self" cancer.
Pardon me if I've misinterpreted the thrust of the discussion....
