you may be the only person on this thread who understands the impact of that
Yeah, and when you finger it out, you too will realize the it means intel is switching over in a headlong rush, because it has to...it has no choice...it is so, so far behind AMD where it is now...Hector will switch AMD at his own pace, while maximizing money made and advantages to AMD all along. intel is in deep DOO DOO where it is now, AMD is not.

@WBMW
"
Note that they are predicting mid-2007 to be crossed over, while Intel will be there mid next year.

I don't know why you're still posting wrong facts. Paul said
AGAIN this CC, that the crossover will ONLY!!! appear at the
performance segment. Thats a whole different. Now, everyone
could guess by its own, how large this segment is - my bet,
its under 20-25% of ALL Intel-volume.
Lets do the math in Intel-favour (25%) - crossover would mean,
that 12,5% would be DC. Ok, some DC will also shipped in the
other areas, but it seems clear that Intel will sell around 20-25%
DC's OVERALL at the END!!! of 2006 (thats what Paul said).
These are impressive volume-numbers, but with these facts in mind,
I have to wonder, how Intel will sell the other 75-80% SC
CPU's? Do you get what I wanted to say ... I'm sure you got it.
