It doesn't look like Barrick needs to buy-out J.L. .... Barrick holds aprox. a 45,000 H.A. land position in the mineral rich El Indio Gold Belt, which is much, much larger than what J.L. is trying to contest ... it will likely take Barrick at least the rest of your lifetime (or more) before Barrick exhausts the reserves contained in their 45,000 H.A. land position.

He can't, it would be just as illegal for Jorge to cut a deal with Barrick, as it would be for MSX to do the same.
