Yes...and I wish I knew but they seem to have more patents in for approval. I wonder who submitted those or generated them. I was under the impression that the capability of more patents from LQMT was gone since their "technicians" were gone. But I also mis understood how large of pieces they can make now. We have to be realistic about potential buyers. They have to be convinced that somehow
having one of their products made out of liquid metal will benefit them. That cuts down the potential buyers considerably unless they have DEEP pockets, like the auto industry for lighter metals.
I can see why LQMT is funding some of the moulds. They have to get their foot in the door.
The SWATCH contract is VERY important. In fact I'm surprised LQMT got it, because its more about "looks" than function. So its not really that easy selling a "miracle" metal unless a company can see immediate profit benefits. Or, AMAZING product benefits, such as giving them a big quality difference from their competitors.
