Agreed JCM, I purchase many shares of CHK in 1999 at .075 and sold at 3.25!! I made $$ and was a WIZ at stocks that day!!! Well, after I sold, there were 24 Div. Payments and CHK rose to 66.78 a share!!! It still hurts a bit to say the least!!

Did you buy AAPL at $15.00 and sell at $30.00? Did you buy AMZN at $10.00 and sell at $25.00? Did you buy PCLN at $4.00 and sell at $15.00?

There are alternatives to riding along.

#1. Sell "portion" of holdings and ride the rest "free" shares.

#2. After you have established a nice gain, place a trailing stop. In "pinkyland" the percentage spread off highs, to set stop, has to be wide enough to accept a certain level of volitility.

"trading lessons learned...I am a sector trader,once found a new ticker(BCC#)tradeing in the coffee sector,pumped in alot @.01sold@.09,good tradeBUT>BCC# continued to run to 50 cents.Bought SFI#(vaporless cig sector)@.002sold @.012good tradeBUT it continued to run to 7cents.THIS MJ sector is on NEW ground,laws changeing,and REAL MAJOR MONEYS to be made by small start-up companys.ERBB is gonna make a major move from here{much like SFI#&BCC#}I have learned the HARDWAY.DONT SELL THIS JEM TO EARLY,it will leave you a little sick for a long time.I am only shareing my experience,wish someone would have done the same for me."

never had ANY luck with stops in pennyland{allways get stopped out and dont trust MM}.The big board is a cmplete different story,i use opptions.Rideing free shares is a great theory,doesent work for me,I am an "all in"type of guy!THATS WHY IM POUNDING the TABLE.....GOOOOOOO ERBB GO
