Dow Chemical Europe to Use Universal Ice Blast Technology for Asbestos
Abatement

KIRKLAND, Wash., March 5 /PRNewswire-FirstCall/ --
Universal Ice Blast, Inc. (BB:UIBI), announced today that Dow
Chemical Europe has identified UIBI's ice blast technology for a major
asbestos abatement project. Dow Chemical Europe has signed an agreement with
Universal Ice Blast, Inc. and its Dutch Distributor, Heydaal B.V., to lease
ice blast equipment to the abatement contractor working on the project.
The Company disclosed that it shipped four ice blast machines to Heydaal
B.V. in February 2003. This equipment is part of a rental fleet that the
Company is building to serve the European Industrial and Environmental
cleaning markets. Universal Ice Blast believes that because of its
proprietary technology and first to market position, it is possible to achieve
a 10% market share for its specialized cleaning segment.
Rory Clarke, Chairman and CEO of UIBI notes, "The $120 million revenue
potential is significant since it is generally a recurring income stream that
allows the Company to control its technology and retain ownership of its ice
blast machines. Universal hopes to embark on a campaign to target customers
in the Petroleum, Chemical, Marine and Manufacturing companies."

companies on a long and short term basis. UIBI will provide equipment through
Heydaal, who will in turn market and service the full line of ice blast
products. Our anticipated rental market potential is expected to be 400 to

estimated to be $2.1 billion over the next 7 to 10 years.
