Tinroad...I find it exceedingly difficult to believe Apple would be any more successful in signing consumers up for pay-for-music subscriptions than the labels have been, OR that they could turn it into any kind of revenue stream. Yes they have a fanatic loyalty base, but these people are the same as the average listener, and they want FREE music too. No Apple marketing campaign is going to change that IMHO.

Tinroad, as painful as it must be for you I applaud your efforts to calmly and logically expose the weaknesses in Cassandra's claims.

As this forum is dedicated to the discussion of e.Digital and their business it is expected that poorly thought out ideas and assertions will be presented from time to time. Far better that these erroneous arguments are debunked by superior reason then by name calling and mud slinging. It is clear why you were once an effective moderator on this board.

Long's often raise concerns that the efforts of Cassandra and others to view e.Digital negatively at any cost must be met with equal response lest sincere newbies be misled. I believe that responses such as yours go far further in educating lurkers about the true nature of posters here than any other tactic. Eventually those that would have as their motive only to malign will become known as such and, as a result, rendered harmless.
