Janice is right about the mosquitoes not to mention wasps, black flies and swamps. Much better in the great white north in winter when everything is frozen over.

Enough of the pessimism already! The country's best days are ahead of it. (Though not necessarily in the next four years, IMO.) Now, i will just have to plan to live longer to see the brighter days.

If my parents and grandparents were alive today, they would marvel that we have the things we have today ... and still bitch about everything.

Forgot about Alaska, revoke your citizenship and go to Hungary. I made some inquiries and they will swap out your CMKX shares in exchange for their gov. bonds.

Hungary 'to offer wealthy foreigners citizenship in return for investment'

Any foreigner who buys at least £200,000 of its government's bonds may receive Hungarian passport

Hungary is planning to offer citizenship to any foreigner who buys at least £200,000 of its government’s bonds.

Legislation would grant residency and ultimately a Hungarian passport... allowing the holder to live and work anywhere in the European Union.

The move, backed by the ruling party, is aimed at wealthy investors, especially from China.
