IMHO, the "business combination" will be announced by the second week of December. The two pure plays in silicon photonics are Luxtera and Kotura. I hope it is one of these two companies. I wonder if this business combination was at the suggestion (or even blessed by) of the major microelectronics customer. Could the business combination be a precursor for a much larger buyout by the major microelectronic customer or some other large entity?
