Perhaps the real problem PWC has with the JV is all the boulders & obstacles that need to be cleared first b4 any mining can start. What would it profit them to do all that work? with only the hope of finding actual profitable paydirt?

After the mining begins,, Pete may want to reconsider the JV,, especially after the bonanza jackpot is found, imo... ;^{)

Solid points W.A. Will the returns outweigh the costs in this experiment? Time will tell. Good luck Perry.

It looks like the price of fuel is going to come down this winter which will definitely help with the cost of mining. Luckily too that the claims are not far from the main hwy.

I ve done some panning in the Fraser at a little town called Yale and was surprised at the amount of gold a guy like me could find in an afternoon. From people that I ve talked to I ve heard that there is more coarse gold toward Lytton. These areas are only open to recreational panners and no claims or machinery are allowed.

I am also not surprised that a JV was not reached. Some contractors are not interested in becoming mining companies.

There is a lot of gold in the Fraser River; the samples that were taken were at a depth of 4m - wait until they get down to bed rock.
