Investors seem to be ok with CAT’s mixed results. Of course, this is a variant on the popular Wall Street game of lowering guidance and then reporting actual results that are not so bad (e.g. #msg-80740915). The twist in this case is that CAT recently lowered guidance for 2015 (#msg-79889329).

CAT’s acquisition of BUCY is not looking so good right now, but I think it will pay off in due course.
