You seem to be in a state of total confusion, whether casual or deliberate, over what you call "the projections" or "the projection".
Posters can correct me if I am saying anything imprecise, but I have a crystal clear recollection that Shazaam made a whole series of wildly optimistic projections, none of which were the responsibility of the company.
At a considerably later stage SunnComm, in particular CEO Peter Jacobs, made a cautiously expressed estimation –– not a promise, let me remind you once again, as the point always seems to escape you –– of 145 million CDs protected by year's end, and we will now have to wait about three months to see how near or how far the result will be compared with that figure, not with the figures of Shazaam. If the true topic is SunnComm and its results, Shazaam is virtually off topic, at least in the sense that their figures were a private opinion never requested or endorsed by SunnComm.
I just cannot see why you should choose to completely muddle up two separate events, or why you should refer to the Shazaam projections or meld Shazaam and SunnComm into a single entity by talk about "the projection(s)", without ever distinguishing between the two.
