What ever the the projection was, it was based on criterian given by the Industry of expected usage in this year.
Full rollout by BMG by early spring, was the indication given by BMG/SONY. If Peter used that as part of the projection, is he wrong? The decisions made altered or changed as to usage are not ours to make they are rightfully the decisions made by the Industry and whether we like it or not we have to adapt.
Had no projection been made complaints of why not , no vision would have followed.

Whether the projections are met or to what extent is still an open question.
Though my personal view is it is doubtful for this year.
Would I have liked to have the projections met? Sure I would have liked a Billion Cds by 12/31/05 !
We are continuing to increase the usage with not only more cd protection but also with Artist that are very popular which in turn generate higher usage and exposure to our MMXT technology!

The most important thing is to file the S-4 and finish the merger!

alj14, the 145 million CD projection was not a "cautiously expressed estimation" as you infer, but rather was touted to be "conservative", and it fueled wild speculation on this board of numbers exceeding the estimate. The 145 million projection was again said to be "on track" during the conference call 3 months ago. Now, we blame the mis-speak on the record labels and on Apple, but it's clear that the projection was NOT conservative and is NOT going to be achieved. They screwed this up, and it's just another factor as to why our share price is 3 cents.

LOL hey at the SHM there was no "caution" in expressing where we stood in regards to projections. The whole idea of 145mil started with Shazamm and was picked up by SCMI. Like I said earlier, I have an email from PJ that I have posted earlier that says "we are on target to meet out 145mil projection"

I'm not confused and I WANT SCMI TO SUCCEED! Lets do it without the pumps and bashes and just tell it the way it is.

alj what you dont seem to understand is mario MANY MANY TIMES and most on this board have agreed, expressed, and flat-out said we are behind schedule. The company thought the ramp up was coming in january and that they would get 145 million cds. now for some reason you cant get it through your head that we are nine months behind schedule. so the company mario and every poster on this board knows the ramp up was supposed to begin early this year, yet you think the ramp up is going to start now in oct and all those cds are just going to magically appear??
