The people shorting this stock wil gladly sell them at a lower PPS. If people would buy at the ask, the PPS would continue to rise but that doesnt happen because everyone wants in at a lower price. There will always be someone who will bid lower than the ask. Also people putting in a stop-loss will definately cause the PPS to drop.
