Many of the most successful investors make the most money on savvy speculation before it become realization.

Blind faith is bad.
Proven performance is expensive.

If one wants to wait until after JBII already provided the security of years of profits and is paying cash dividends, if that does happen, then that person won't be paying .97/share at that time.

Everybody has his or her risk tolerance and personal experience on success. There is a large middle between "blind faith" and "proven performance" which for many investors is overall a highly profitable consistent strategy.
