Agreed. Most of this discussion is over my head but I'm enjoying the education. The more we understand it the more intelligently we can speak about it. And, if there's something the judge or our lawyers need to fine tune or simplify for the purposes of understanding, well then who knows who reads this forum! Not everyone on a jury is stupid & unfortunately there are a lot of unemployed but capable & smart people out there who are potential jurors.

I, too, have served on juries. I have also watched trials as a spectator. Clearly, our experiences are the opposite of one another.
