Even if the rejections were somehow made final, VRNG can appeal that process and drag it out for years. Until the patents are completely invalidated, the court should assume that all the patents are valid and the claim of infringement should move forward on time.

agree,

From what I can gather, GOOG may have challenged ONLY those 6 claims, cuz they have to come up with arguments and supportive evidence for every argument they produce and they only have the one chance to do it since this is ex parte and not inter partes. I don't know if they even challenged the rest of the patent specifics BUT these six claims, which I believe are the heart of the patent infringement that VRNG is claiming. Thus, I won't buy the argument that "wow, this is great, most of the patent sailed through w/o being challenged" OTOH, odds look good that the nonfinal judgment is not intro'd into the court case... I'm holding........
